Note: For testing proteins, we use the Biuret solution. It is already a combination of sodium hydroxide and copper sulfate.
Hint: If I were you, I would memorize and make sure I know exactly how to test for reducing sugars, starch, proteins and fats while preparing for tomorrow's lab :)
